“Thunder Prairie Blend” is a powerhouse of brassicas, legumes, forbs and cereal grains. The nine different plant species included in this food plot seed blend creates excellent plant diversity and an extremely high-quality food source. A wide variety of plants encourages soil health and improves the microbiological ecosystem that lives inside of the soil which is crucial for crops to grow to their maximum potential. Purple top turnips and tillage radish provide a high-quality brassica food source with their leafy tops and nutrient packed tubers. The blend’s sugar beets are extremely palatable and can be considered a sweet treat due to their 22% sucrose content. The legume, crimson clover, is both a protein packed food source and a nitrogen fixing powerhouse which benefits your food plot’s soil food web health. Chicory is also contained in “Thunder Prairie Blend” which is a rugged, drought resistant, perennial forb, a great food source and adds to plant diversity. A combination of cereal grain defender oats, red head wheat, notorious triticale and cereal grain rye create a strong and highly preferred food source the will carryon throughout the winter.
